And another one bites the dust...
Timing is very interesting.
Afraid of a MAGA primary challenge in 2026?
The guy is no good and he is probably time this to try and reduce the republican count in the senate when the next session starts.
University of Florida...how far they have fallen. :-(
Must be some juicy pics/videos coming out.
I’m a Gator. I think I’m gonna puke.
We finally get a good coach after a trio of dunces and now we get saddled with this bucket of shit as the school president?
sick.
The governor is a Republican, but he’s a wealthy country-club Republican. His family owns the Chicago Cubs. I wonder what kind of senator he’ll appoint. We might wind up missing Sasse.
This could turn out very well. Our governor, Pete Ricketts, is out in January due to term limits. If he could appoint himself to this Senate seat, he could serve the first 4 years without running. Praying this is how it happens.
That’s a win!
“ On February 13, 2021, Sasse was one of seven Republican senators to vote to convict Donald Trump of incitement of insurrection in his second impeachment trial.” - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ben_Sasse
“ When a vacancy occurs in the representation of the State of Nebraska in the Senate of the United States, the office shall be filled by the Governor. ” - https://nebraskalegislature.gov/laws/statutes.php?statute=32-565
John Peter Ricketts (R) is serving as the 40th governor of Nebraska since 2015
“ Ricketts criticized the impeachment of Donald Trump over his request that Ukraine start an investigation into his political rival Joe Biden. Ricketts said the impeachment proceedings were a “partisan impeachment parade” and praised the Senate for acquitting Trump.” - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pete_Ricketts
THIS IS A BIG WIN FOR TRUMP, AND FOR AMERICA!
Senator, don’t let the door hit you on your a— as you leave, buh bye.
EXCELLENT!
Hopefully the Governor will appoint someone who is both a real Republican and can win in ‘24.
Walking away from the battlefield.
Florida didn’t have anybody worth recruiting? His home state didn’t have a university with his time and attention? Hmmm
I’d like to see Herbster get the nod, but that is unlikely.
No Sasse, no Rino ass!
UF is the most important institution in the nation’s most economically dynamic state.
Shows us what this puke really thinks of Nebraska.
Why would anyone want to be a senator?
