I have to ask why. Are there Federal jobs that can’t be filled if you have a conviction? IRS agents? How do you even get the feds to charge you with simple possession?

Can’t own a firearm for one thing. Can’t vote in many states still. And you may be able to get a lot of government jobs, but you may have trouble with some security clearances I would think.

Notice that there is nothing about a waiver of testing for marijuana use to get a federal job.

I was thinking the same thing. I feel like it was in the early 80s and the folks hes pardoning are older folks well past this nonsense.
