Three major American medical institutions wrote a letter to the Biden administration this week urging it to go after major figures online who are promoting content that exposes some of the radical gender surgeries that are being offered at some places across the country.
The American Medical Association, American Academy of Pediatrics, and Children’s Hospital Association all signed the letter to U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland, urging the administration to “investigate the organizations, individuals, and entities” that it claimed were “coordinating” and “provoking” outrage online directed at those providing the controversial services.
“From Boston to Akron to Nashville to Seattle, children’s hospitals, academic health systems, and physicians are being targeted and threatened for providing evidence-based health care,” the letter, obtained by the Manhattan Institute’s Christopher Rufo, stated. “These attacks have not only made it difficult and dangerous for institutions and practices to provide this care, they have also disrupted many other services to families seeking care.”
The letter claimed that medical personnel have faced “increased threats via social media” and that there was “elevated and justifiable fear among families, patients, and staff.”
“These coordinated attacks threaten federally protected rights to health care for patients and their families. The attacks are rooted in an intentional campaign of disinformation, where a few high-profile users on social media share false and misleading information targeting individual physicians and hospitals, resulting in a rapid escalation of threats, harassment, and disruption of care across multiple jurisdictions,” the letter continued. “Our organizations have called on technology companies to do more to prevent this practice on digital platforms, and we now urge your office to take swift action to investigate and prosecute all organizations, individuals, and entities responsible.”
The letter claimed that the “hospitals, staff, and their communities” have been “shaken” by outrage that has been generated as a result of them being put under the microscope.
“Providers of evidence-based gender-affirming health care and their colleagues are facing increased stress and fear on top of the conditions they have faced while working on the frontlines of a global pandemic for nearly three years,” the letter said. “Families seeking care at these institutions as well as our those providing their care fear for their personal safety in the wake of these attacks.”

AMA asks the DOJ to put contrarians under the boot.

They use every tool at their disposal to advance their Leftist destructive agenda under the guise of “finding middle ground” or “bipartisanship” but those things only mean conceding in one direction...Conservatives concede to Leftists.
There is never, Never, NEVER any concession the other way.
And in this way, their corrosive and destructive policies inch forward, year after year, until we are at a point where homosexuality is normalized, drag queens meet with kindergarteners or middle-schoolers with adult approval, abortion is celebrated with the same enthusiasm as a live birth, and genital mutilation and castration with drugs can be performed by licensed physicians, approved by lawmakers, on children who are considered competent to make choices about it, done with or without their parent’s consent.
Astonishing.
No, there is no “middle ground” to find with these beasts who advocate these things.
PEOPLE HAVE A RIGHT TO KNOW ABOUT THIS SICKNESS!!
Seems pretty simple. Find out if your physician is a member of these organizations and then tell the physician that since they are a member of an organization that espouses the most grotesque form of child abuse you will no longer use their services. Don’t back down in your decision even after they try to convince you otherwise. Then, when locating a nnew physician, be sure to ask the question and then tell them the same thing- no thanks, not interested in child abusing physicians, or even those who tacitly support such.

When I was in medical school we used to get free membership to AMSA (American Medical Student Association). The articles in their publication were often politically liberal, and there was a definitive contingent of contributors and/or respondents who pushed LBGQT issues and content. I have little doubt that some of these people went on to participate in ‘political medicine’ (e.g. the AMA). They don’t speak for most physicians.

But since the AMA is a hard left organization - their WOKE "CANCEL VOICES WE DON'T AGREE WITH" stance is predictable.
