Yep, and it sickens me when people defend them, as if they’re competent.
For example, now that we’ve decided to go on the warpath around the world, are we even increasing our military spending, or the size of our military, or the size of our army? Nothing that I know of.
There is simply NO WAY to defend the people running this country, they’re literally dumping our defense in the wastelands of Ukraine - and they don’t even know it.

However, former Russian propaganda teams some of us have dealt with in the past, were far more familiar with basic US Command structures, capability, theater assets, Sea Lift supply chain, etc, etc, and therefore they were able to develope much more intelligent psyops statements, propaganda, and arguments.
Now, simply put, Russia’s Western and Southern military district reserves, especially from the Russian 8tb and 10th Armies really have been “spent”, or severely drawn down in Ukraine. Hence all the statements and draconian actions Putin is making right now.
The Koreans are well able to take care of themselves. There is no space, simply put, to deploy very large modern mechanized forces in their terrain and frontage. Artillery is king in that terrain. And the Koreans are extremely well equipped that way.
The best way for the US to support them is to back them up with air and naval forces, besides recon and signals intelligence, especially against China.
Or, this is an opening gambit for China to invade Taiwan in the confusion.

TOKYO - North Korea apparently fired on Tuesday a missile which appears to have flown over Japan, the Japanese government said, just days after the North launched ballistic missiles toward the Sea of Japan.
The government issued an alert urging residents in Japan’s northernmost main island of Hokkaido and the country’s northeastern prefecture of Aomori to stay inside buildings.
The Defense Ministry said what appears to be a ballistic missile has already fallen.
