This teacher is obviously looking for some naked kids.
Overreacted? I don’t think so. This woman should be investigated and the school should be sued. This is likely not the first of her inappropriate assignments.
Don’t you ask yourself what is her motive for such an assignment? She is with your child for hours everyday. What else is going on there?

If true, and the assignment stated things like, in PJ's or clothed, specifically not naked, then the parent may just be creating a problem that doesnt exist. But its a weird assignment in any case and coming from a Christian academy, you'd think administrators had more sense than that after 'years' of giving this assignment out.
