The psychosis of HATRED towards the Russians is unreal at this point, and is leading right to a nuclear exchange...

***********

Rising tensions mean an increased chance of a mistake, miscalculation, or even a technical glitch of some sort triggering a tragic reaction.

VLADIMIR Putin has deployed the world's biggest submarine ...

I don't know anything about ASW, but the bigger the sub the easier to locate and destroy?

“Rising tensions mean an increased chance of a mistake, miscalculation, or even a technical glitch of some sort triggering a tragic reaction.”

Exactly, and what makes this situation so dangerous is that the Neocons STILL think that Russia is going to back down, when it involves their backyard, and as of today, their own country (as far as they’re concerned).

But would they RISK their new submarine by actually firing their missiles when it is likely to malfunction and destroy their new “just for show” military hardware?

It will more likely than not, go “Boomski”.

“… world’s biggest submarine which can be armed with a terrifying nuclear “apocalypse drone…”

So scary sounding. How’s it going to help them stop losing to Ukraine?

The really bad news is that even a limited strike would likely shutdown the power grid and without the power grid our nuclear power plants will start melting down after 3 or 4 days. Imagine 90 or so Fukushimas spread out all over the USA.

We really need to start building nukes that shutdown safely if left alone.

Have they moved the doomsday clock lately or is that only for GOP presidents?

That's only for GOP presidents. When the Dems control the White House, the doomsday clock gets put in storage, next to the national debt clock.

Mark had better take a good long look at what is going on in Europe now days.

After Biden blew up that pipe line, the German government is most likely gong to collapse. The Germans will cozy up to the Russians. Just like Italy will do as many other mid continent Europe nations.

So what does Biden do? Such as after Italy elects it new government? He insults them. He insults the UK for attempting to lower taxes and produce its own gas.

Are there any governments that prick has NOT insulted?

It isnt just what Russia is doing..which is preparing to most likely for a first strike on the USA, but it is the damage this drooling demented jackass in the White house is doing.

This winter is going to be real interesting. The only way we survive is by getting control of the legislature and prevent mumbles from doing any more damage.

Regardless of the legitimacy of their view, Russia see’s Ukraine as a buffer against an expanding NATO. Its basically a red line for them. Our leaders don’t seem to appreciate just how seriously Russia takes potential threats to their border.

I doubt that Trump would have ever allowed this volatile mess to escalate the way it has.

“I doubt that Trump would have ever allowed this volatile mess to escalate the way it has.”

Well never know, but I suspect he would have told Ukraine to settle its differences with Russia, and if they didn’t want to, they could fight Russia alone... And Ukraine would have settled.

Oh yeah, daily mail, the world’s BIGGEST submarine, with an APOCALYPTIC drone, such superlative adjectives, we should be scared, right?
The whole reporting on this war is ridiculous. Wonder where all the brave ,egalitarian, truth seeking, speaking TRUTH TO POWER journalists are now?
