President Donald Trump has called on Brazilian voters to re-elect President Jair Bolsonaro.
“BRAZIL, VOTE FOR JAIR BOLSONARO,” Trump posted on Truth Social on Saturday night, calling the Brazilian president a “great and highly respected man.”
Bolsonaro himself posted a video of Trump admonishing the Brazilian people to re-elect him, offering his endorsement and calling Bolsonaro “a fantastic leader, a fantastic man, [and] one of the great presidents of any country in the world,” specifically citing Bolsonaro’s management of Brazil’s economy.
In the same tweet in which he shared the video of Trump, Bolsonaro said, “Thank you, my friend Trump! Thanks to the support of the Brazilian people and our determination to fight for Brazil’s interests, today we are respected throughout the world and we count on the support of free and prosperous nations and no longer of socialist dictatorships, as in the past.”

Brazilians? That would be a landslide.
All things being equal, I’d like it if Americans stayed out of foreign elections. That goes for Trump as much as it does Obama, the CIA and the State Department. We don’t have a great track record, and it undermines the whole idea that other countries like China and Russia shouldn’t interfere in foreign elections either.
My business partner and good friend from Sao Paolo strongly supports Bolsanaro. Fearful of Lula as a corrupt Communist.
Why does every media support corrupt Communists? Don’t they understand that the FIRST group the Communists will attack and imprison when they achieve total power is the MEDIA?

Brazilians are going to be very sorry if the corrupt socialist wins.

Gotta agree. It annoys foreign leaders, to say the least. Plus, how many actual Brazilian voters would change their minds based on Trump’s endorsement?
