Retired Air Force Col. Cedric Leighton explains the significance of Russian forces retreating from Lyman, a strategic city for its operations in the east.
The first part isn’t analysis, its all assertions without proof.
On the second part, most of the train videos show T72A/B’s and older version MSTA SP guns. One such video shows @20 T72B3’s.
This on its own proves nothing. This spate of “train videos” were released by Russian sources as propaganda.
On the second, also, US satellite recon and signals intelligence would know exactly where any massive Russian concentration is, or will be, in realtime. This is obviously being fed to the Ukrainians, and they would be behaving accordingly. They dont seem to be worrying about some armored fist in driving range.

If even the Russian news is conceding the loss of territory, then its because the Russians are being paid off by Soros?
Skepticism and paranoia are just fine. I think paranoia should be a subject in schools (why should I believe you that 1+1=2? It will force elementary teachers to break out Bertrand Russell).
But truth exists regardless of lies and spin, and it can be found.

I was particularly struck by the point Peterson made that “Retraditionaliztion and Sacralization of Worldview Matters” that Putin is bringing about in Russia is actually going on over much of the world (80%). People are rejecting liberal Western globalism and wokeism and returning to nation, culture, custom and traditions.

This is not a strange thing in “revived” countries.
In the current autonomous Spanish regions of the Basque country and Catalunya, the Basque and Catalan languages are official, and required in the schools. And thats in spite of them having large minorities of 20th century economic immigrants from elsewhere in Spain - who spoke and still speak Spanish of course. The result is an almost universal bilingualism.
I, a native Spanish speaker, live in Bilbao and often go to Barcelona. This all has very little political friction there.
The cause of this trouble in Ukraine is obviously irredentism deliberately created by the Russian government.
You will find such cases everywhere in Europe. France forced French on Nice. Britain English on Wales. The Baltic states on their own large minorities of Russian speakers.
And, note, thats what Ukraine was doing for the last 30 years.

Sadly, the Ukrainian puppet doesn't care how many troops and material he throws into the wood chipper - he just needs to make excuses for his various handlers to pay themselves the billions they claim to send to the Ukraine in military aid. Our deep state, and some of our trolls (*cough**cough*) roll around in the money purportedly sent overseas to the Ukraine - every time the US claims to send more money, the hard core trolling has an uptick on FR.
And when they can no longer hide, with the help of the MSM, the overwhelming defeat of the deep state pooled resources passing for the 'Ukranian army', it's not like the billions and billions of taxpayer money is ever going to be repaid to the citizens. For the Ukranian puppet/deep state - it's winning even when they already lost.
Ukraine never had an identity or culture, study the history of the region.
The Ukrainians seem to think otherwise.

So at this point, Russian claims of crippling Ukrainian losses should be taken with a mountain ofsalt.
Friendly reminder: Ukraine is the size of Texas. Their counteroffensive cost 7,000 lives, hundreds of tanks and armoured vehicles and gained them an area the size of Rhode Island.
Ukrainian counteroffensive costed them 7000 lives? And the source of this information is?
Doesn't make their existence as an independent nation any less legitimate or worthy of defense.
When it takes roughly 9000+/- Ukies 2 weeks to take a small settlement held by roughly 500+ militia, that ain’t no victory.
Casualties/KIA are still hideous for Ukies.
The whole ‘Kherson offensive’ has been a PR stunt that has cost the Ukies upwards of 25+/-K KIA and wounded.
It isn’t a war/conflict, it’s suicide in the name of PR.
