Since most electricity is produced by coal and (now banned) natural gas, once they stop toking the weed and drinking their wine they’ll realize they have to do that too.
They will ban generating electricity from solar and wind too when the time is right. They will discover a rare, endangered bird that is being chopped up by windmills, and a rare cactus that the solar farms a shading and killing that that rare bird nests in.
