I can certainly see where Russia might well feel threatened by NATO expansion. I don’t know that that fear justifies Russia’s invasion of neighboring nations.You "don't know?!"
Are you saying that you doubt Russia's inherent right to invade neighboring countries, hold phony referenda, and annex their territory, if those countries contemplate joining a defensive military alliance of democratic nations?

I was just using a common phrase. I thought the gist of my post was pretty clear. Ukraine has been invaded twice by Russia in the last 8 years. Now, Belarus is threatening invasion of Ukraine as well. As near as I can tell, Ukraine has not invaded its neighbors.
