Hurricane Ian "Fatalities in the hundreds" according to Lee County Sherriff Carmine Marceno
Yes, but something like a Baily bridge could cover the gap within hours.
I'm pretty sure our military can do this...
“Nobody ever went broke underestimating the intelligence of the American people” attributed to H. L. Mencken
Progressives are like vampires who feed on the suffering and death of others.
I asked my brother-in-law, a Trump hater, if he thought it was worth millions of people’s lives being destroyed and our economy being deliberately trashed simply to keep Trump from getting reelected. His response was yes.
If the tragedy and damage from this hurricane can be used against DeSantis then the Liberals are quite pleased to see it.
I imagine the Army Corp of Engineers will be involved in that one.
“(As am I, but it isnot any of my business that the people of GOrth,He looks like the sex all y one )”
???
We used to do that when I lived on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. They would send us home from work and we would go to Raleigh.
Sometimes the hurricane would hit, sometimes not.
That’s a good guess.
Our neighbor’s daughter and husband recently moved to St. Pete. They got out very early before traffic jams had piled up. They are the smart newcomers. They were able to get an AirBnB in Ft. Lauderdale before all the rooms and rental places dried up.
That’s remarkable footage, even though it’s only a snippet of a minute or so.
As one who has lived through a flood, I can assure you that a flood can eff your life.
Is there video of that interview we can see? Thanks

It is delusional. I have the same sort of relatives. All I can do is pray now.
Yeah see post #3
I’m just not seeing that. The news helicopters are going over the areas and I’m just not seeing 150/190 MPH wind and gust damage. On “devastated” Sanibel Island most trees remain standing, and the houses look untouched. Even the boat docks and storage look untouched.
I don’t see damage anywhere close to Michael’s.
You of course did ask him if that included you?
Unfortunately I read/watched some videos of several dummies who stated that the last hurricane ended up being less than was predicted, so they were going nowhere. Of course, the videos of what Cuba was going through were not made public for people to see the destruction and realize that it might be a much stronger storm this time.
We have a failed system that puts politics above the safety of people so they can use the devastation as a political weapon against an excellent governor! Shame on ANYONE who is fooled by this utter nonsense! It really proves that leftists/communists have only air between their ears!
I have no idea where that came from. Demonic?
And a whole lot of deaths of people trying to get into our country illegal.......and I doubt we will never know that true number.
“All one has to do is drive north 3 or 4 hours and life is safe”
Not even that far really, for several days state officials were recommending people take alligator ally to the east coast.
Ft. Meyers to Ft. Lauderdale......2 hours.
I did that drive many many times back in the day.
