You need to understand Vlad is not interested in the western half, only the Ethnic Russian provinces. Had anyone taken the time to read his 24th Feb speech ( and others) his goal and intentions are clearly spelled out, liberating the Ukie controlled Russian areas. Pretty simple to me.

As for Peace, if the eastern Russian provinces are not attacked and bombed by the Ukies( since 2014), then Peace is at hand.

I was reacting to your ‘RIP Ukraine 1991-2023’. What will become of the rump Ukraine? How about the ethnic Ukrainians that are going to be part of Russian territory? And ethnic Russians left in Ukrainian majority areas? How should we expect them to be treated?

I have no dog in this fight, but I don’t see how a Putin/Russian victory leads to ‘peace’.
