Here in Broward County we have constant rain. Not heavy but definitely constant.
Did I say light rain? Right after I posted that it the rain started coming down hard. Very hard.
Same here, I was in Pasadena TX.
Look at that map some parts of FL will be under hurricane force winds for 36+ hours.
Here’s the first thought that occurred to me when it became apparent that Tampa Bay was on the firing line for a direct hit from Ian. This was only 1 1/2 years ago when Piney Point was on the ragged edge of an environmental disaster.
Is there a Freeper in the TBA who can comment on this?
You might have seen the NHC revision - they have it closer to Orlando as a tropical storm. A strong tropical storm. You might want to plan accordingly.

I am worried about my little brother Sam is down there right in the path of this Hurricane.. He went through Irma in 2017..
An accurate observation and probably the greater issue in what's about to occur.
Hope this helps:

So far, with every update the path seems to be shifting a little farther East.
This gang in DC is not above sabotaging and slow walking the FEMA response just to try to make it as hard on DiSantis as possible, suffering red state voters be damned.
It’s exactly what they did with Katrina.
