germany is in for some serious economic pain. NS2 has been dangling there as an option for them. the party interested in making sure that option is removed is not russia (who can simply not sell the gas to them).
this seems obvious to me.
It would be just a bridge too far me to believe that the US would permit a sabotage of an ally like this. That’s just me.
