You might want to check your sources.....there is a weather trough dropping onto the gulf that is expected to interact with this storm and may weaken it enough to drop it to a cat 2 or maybe even a cat 1......so it’s not ALL gloom doom death and destruction.

There is a cold front headed south. It passed through our area of North Louisiana yesterday about dark.

I did see that however with the weather that’s pushing downward and the high water temperatures it’s anybodies guess how it will land.

Family in Florida have seen Hurricanes look like they’re coming into Jacksonville, off the coast, only to see the direction suddenly change and bypass them. Otheers they get. They’re saying this is tracking like Irma did which flooded Jacksonville..

If it's already almost in the Gulf and still only Cat 1, it's not getting to Cat 4/5 unless the Gulf is extra warm and it sits in the Gulf for a whole day getting stronger.

Tropical Storm wind speed probability < hurricane. I lived in FL for 25 years and if I was still there, I wouldn't be too worried about this one. Cuba will take some strength and organization out of it. People right smack on the Coast will probably get some storm surge and wind but they're used to that.
