Well curently it’s still uncertain how Ian will go - but it’s not hard for the pros - like Bastari- to make a good guess. He’s one of the more dependable ones. Either or it doesn’t look good for Floridas coasts.

Thanks for posting. I have relatives trying to make the stay/go decision as we speak. Some of us know it’s important to track best estimates of strength and cone when making these decisions not sitting back and sniping at sites you don’t like

Not looking good for your family, as Ian is expected to be a slow mover along Florida’s west coast. :( The newest update from NOAA’s Hurricane Center shows it making landfall around Cedar Keys/mouth of the Suwannee River then passing to the west of Gainsville. Good news is it will looks like it will weaken before landfall.
