That twirling of the reins within the horse’s vision requires skill and actually has a purpose-to keep the horse from trampling pedestrians in front of it-since smart people on foot don’t get in front of or try to grab or slap at moving horses-it keeps the dumb ones from getting run over and possibly killed by a 1000+ lb animal-we see it used in this rural area by the sheriff’s mounted posse doing crowd control at parades, rodeos and other large gatherings with lots of tourists present who are not used to being around horses-that is what was happening in the photos/videos of that incident-only the dumb ones are not tourists but mojados...

Brandon and his henchmen owe those Border Patrol horsemen more than an apology-they should have to pay them a fine for the false accusation, too...
