Newt, will it be as useless as the one that made you Speaker. The only big thing I saw you do was to work to destroy the Waco investigation. Fake unipartarian.

I watched what happened in 1994/95.

The Republicans tried to do what they said they would do.

The Media came down on the Republicans like a ton of bricks.

It was then I realized the real power in the US was the Media, not the political parties; although, the Media was mostly in line with the Democrats.

But, it is hard to tell who pulls whose strings. Does the Media run the Democrat party, or does the Democrat party run the Media. They are an incestuous bunch, with quite a few RINOs in there as well.

Mark, after the GOP took the House in 1994, we certainly witnessed the power of the media to move public opinion. Who can ever forget their campaign to convince the country that Republicans were trying to starve school children.

In the end, despite all the awful blowback, IIRC, the GOP got Bill Clinton to sign into law 7 out of 10 of the Contract items. Ironically, in doing this, Slick Willie benefitted politically and helped him win re-election in 1996.

Never thought I would say this, but Clinton looks Churchillian compared to Biden.

Does the Media run the Democrat party, or does the Democrat party run the Media.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++=

They are one and the same. Zero difference.
