I think everyone gets the idea of pre-natal development. Organs and systems go from being undeveloped to developed. That’s a process every single one of us went through so we could live, and continue to develop, after we are born. If Stacey Abrams’ mother had decided to wipe out the fetus who didn’t yet have a fully-developed heart, she wouldn’t have just rid herself of a clump of cells, she would have rid herself of Stacey.
