Trump fatigue is a very real thing. People are tired of all the drama. Not in FreeRepublic of course though...
That of course is the Dem/media strategy. to CREATE constant drama so people tire, and they do because it's human nature. Which is why they use it on their enemies.
We need chemotherapy not a warm bath.
So why are GOP candidates begging for his endorsement and eager to appear with him at his gigantic rallies? Can any other politician draw a crowd like Trump?
And unfortunately FR does not have an exactly bellweather reputation when it comes to elections. The folks here are way too insulated to have a realistic feel for the population at large. We all seem to think no one in their right mind could vote for these criminal democrats. Yet they keep on voting for real losers like Obama.
I think that Trump himself is having Trump fatigue.
He is at an age when he should be more worried about his health than his political future.
Both of his brothers died at an age younger than he is now.
I wish him a long, peaceful retirement.
The cold truth is that if Trump runs (he will), he will lose in 2024.
DeSantis will probably win easily if he gets the nomination. He might even win Virginia and Colorado, states that are normally out of play.
I am tired of all the drama too. I also know that anyone else who isn’t a major RATlike RINO running would be treated the very same as Trump. The leftists are already attacking and suing DeSantis.
This is what the left does. Constant attacks and constant smears over any opposition.
The stakes are too high and they aren’t going to play nice just because a candidate isn’t Trump.
Why do so many blame the guy who has been treated so terribly by the left in this country for the way he has been treated. Did Trump ever make any speeches to the nation like Biden’s nazi speech? A speech that encouraged hatred and violence toward political opponents?
Trump made mistakes, all leaders do. The fact he was attacked from day one was because he wasn’t an entitled one approved by the deep state. And for that, he had to pay for getting in their way.
When he said he was all that was standing between them and their horrid plans for us, he was spot on.
