Trump has already bragged about DeSantis, saying he taught him everything. I don’t know how DeSantis would be on foreign policy, I would like a Trump/DeSantis ticket, but we need a strong man in Florida too.
I think DeSantis is more valuable as governor than president at the moment.
He’s a bigger thorn in the left’s side by being a rogue (not part of the system) politician at the state level that at the federal.
He has the backing of the FL legislative branch, which, unless we win the House and Senate at the federal level, he would not have. That would effectively hobble DeSantis. Sure, he could do the EO thing to a degree, but unless the legislature is on board with his, he will be fighting an uphill battle at the federal level, just like Trump did.
I like having DeSantis setting the example to the other 49 governors of what a politician with integrity and manhood is like. It sets the bar high, where it should be.
