6.8-magnitude earthquake strikes Mexico, killing one
The quake came days after another deadly tremor that fell on the same day as two previous ones.

The earthquake hit at 1:16 a.m .in the state of Michoacan at a depth of nearly 15 miles, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
Mexican President Andres Manuel said the temblor’s epicenter was the municipality of Coalcoman near the country’s western coast, with its effects being felt as far east as Mexico City, located nearly 400 miles away.
The Secretariat of Citizen Security of Mexico City confirmed that two people in the capital had died as a result of the earthquake.
Officials said a woman died after hitting her head when falling down stairs in her home and a man died of a heart attack.
“From the government of Mexico City, we support the families and extend our solidarity,” Mexico City Mayor Claudia Sheinbaum said in a statement.
Sheinbaum reported that the city did not sustain any damage due to the earthquake.

Things are getting a bit hairy at this point. Another M6.8 to near M7.0 earthquake has struck Mexico, causing additional severe damage and unfortunately even worse.
Much love to those effected by all this seismic unrest, and those who lost someone.
I would not expect the media OR professionals to acknowledge this current unrest, and actually I expect them to show up soon in full denial mode, since they are likely being asked right about now!
I’ve seen this happen many times before.... the denial while were going through major seismic unrest. Dozens of times.

He should know that 6.8 is just a typical aftershock for a quake the size of the main temblor.
For those who aren’t aware, Mexico City is built where a large lake, Lake Texcoco once was. That means virtually of Mexico City is on land fill, so it never fares well in earthquakes.
