How many times do I have to tell that the Ukraine War started on Feb. 24th, and it started because Putin got out of bed that morning, was bored, and figured that starting a war would be fun.

This document was updated on November 10, 2021 by Blinken and his Ukrainian counterpart. The new document says the United States and Ukraine will never accept a Russian Crimea.(We now are “on the hook” over Slavic border disagreements)
Moscow wants a pro Russian puppet Ukraine government.
Washington DC wants a pro Western puppet Ukraine government.

At some point Putin saw the big 70th birthday coming. He was alive beyond the 68-year-old Russian life span. Putin was still alive beyond his expiry date. Putin undoubtedly has some sort of potentially dangerous but managed health problems.
His ambition was to strengthen Mother Russia by returning her to past glory. The annexation of the self-governing separatist Ukranian territories was a fiat accompli. All of Ukraine should be retaken.
He is Russia. He has the best military in the world. Ukrainian military is but a trifle......... the takeover of Ukraine is now or never.
All the yes men, the super rich yes men nodded approval.
So, Putin began the invasion. It took weeks before he realized his fatal error.
