My friends in Moscow were out walking too, posting about people they knew who were there. I think they were brave to do that.
They were indeed brave to demonstrate any kind of opposition. Here one can protest all day long at Fort Benning’s front gate and not get arrested. For protestors who WANT to be arrested (for gaining Leftist street creed), they can cross into Fort Henning, get booked, and released within two hours. Moscow protestors face severe punishments as in Hong Kong where saying the phrase “Restore Hong Kong” can get one a multi-year sentence.
