I read that in the UK movie industry today you can’t get funding unless you have significant roles for minorities in the film. It doesn’t matter if it makes no sense to the story you still have to do it if you want the money. I guess its the same in Hollywierd. My question is, “Is there that large enough of a minority audience out there that needs to be appealed to? Is it all for show? If so it seems to a thin thread to hang a multimillion investment on!”.
It’ll get an NC-17 rating because of the scene where they lube up the Tin Man.
