A similar recommendation was issued for those aged 8 to 18 in April by the same group, the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force.
Primary care practitioners already must ensure screenings are current for cervical, colon and breast cancer, as well as look out for food insecurity, domestic violence, alcohol and tobacco use, and chronic health issues.
Treatment includes psychotherapy, such as cognitive behavioral therapy, medications and techniques for relaxation, mindfulness and desensitization.

Anyone who never feels anxiety is dead. Anxiety is normal.

So they can get even more unsuspecting victims on mind-altering medications like the ones school shooters are on.
All to make a buck.

Put down your smart phones and pull some weeds and start a garden, followed by building some bee hives and keeping bees, along with moderate amounts of good beer and home cooking. Pack your lunches for those who work or attend school.
There you go. Free therapy.

And control. 98% of the members of the American Psychological Assoc. are screaming liberals. The Communists invaded this “profession” decades ago.

Yep, and once you’re officially diagnosed with ‘anxiety’ you go on a red-flag list and your guns are confiscated (paranoia strikes deep, surely they wouldn’t do this).
To: BenLurkin
So they can get everyone on mind-altering drugs, the better to control them.

…” alcohol and tobacco use…”
I use both, and I’m not anxious at all, unless they try to use this as a back door to say I’m unfit to own firearms.

Start with mental health, cognitive and competence screening for all of congress and house, federal and state, president and governors, and the top floor of every agency.
We do not need to medicate every citizen into compliance.

I recommend the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force sit on their thumbs and spin.

I have a better idea: Tell people to stop smoking weed. Voila, the “anxiety epidemic” will be cured.

Stay away from, or greatly minimize your exposure to, people, places and activities that generate anxiety. It isn’t healthy to get yourself worked up into a perpetual state of anger and to make that your constant state. There’s a time and a place for everything, but that time is not all the time. Strive to fill your mind instead with peaceful and godly thoughts to replace those that keep you twisted in a knot. If you don’t carry peace around with you, you will never have it.

There are some careers that you never want to admit any psych problems. I also wonder the ramifications for gun owners.

Now that the scamdemic is no longer making a huge profit from the pricey drugs that don’t work, fake vaxx and semi-annual boosters, I guess the next cash cow for big pharma and their pet docs is going to be banging every insurance company for as many therapy sessions, in-patient psych stays and permanent scrips for psychotropic meds-for as many sheep as they can scare into this “help”$$$$$-and I don’t think any intelligent folks are going to buy into it, considering what went on the last 2 years...
Experiencing some anxiety, along with all the other feelings/emotions is part of the human psyche-if it is a bother, go for a hike in the quiet woods, a drive with the stereo blasting, an extra workout, read a favorite book-whatever it is that you personally find lifts your mood-and it is free...
