Batteries suck big time. It would be so easy to get stuck with a POS rated 200 mile range vehicle. Weather, Hills, so many things impact your range and you may not be able to recharge. They also add 30% to your weight, in cold weather they have to heat themselves loosing 60%+ of their range.
They spend almost as much energy fighting against themselves as they do propelling the passengers.
Batteries are such a terrible idea.

loosing >> losing
One of several errors in your post.
“Hills,”
Going downhill recharges the battery.
The Rockauto newsletter a few months ago asked a question about EV batteries. I don’t remember the model of the car though.
The battery in a _____ weighs:
A 3000 lbs
B The same as a 1980’s Chrysler minivan
C The same as a late 60-70’s Chevelle
D All of the above.
The answer was “D”
Batteries are such a terrible idea.

Its so 1828. But liberals everywhere are fascinated by transportation methods of hundreds of years ago like EVs and trains ... Eventually, they will get around to the horse and buggy, ya think?
