As the world is observing the historic first funeral of a British monarch in over 70 years, CNN's Don Lemon had a chance to speak to eminent Royal commenator Hilary Fordwich about it.
So of course, Don made it about -- Suprise! -- RACE.
Don decided to rip the Royal family for its colonial past, and confront Ms. Fordwich with "demands" that the British Royal family pay out "billions" in "reparations" for slavery and other ills.
Don was totally unprepared for what came next:

The movie “Woman King” glorifies one of the tribes than captured slaves and sold them to Europeans. They should go after their descendants for reparations.
I wonder if Lemon even knew this.

They descended into brutal, unending civil war. When the Portuguese finally showed up on the African coast, the Songhai Empire was dead, with multiple states feeding on its corpse and warring with each other. They had a slave plantation economy, and bags of slaves captured in war. They were only too willing to trade slaves for weapons.
