For the first time, the number of arrests of undocumented immigrants along the southwestern border exceeded two million in one year, according to newly released government data, continuing a historic pace of undocumented immigrants coming to the country.
The number of arrests at the border increased slightly from July to August, with a total of more than 2.1 million for the first 11 months of the 2022 fiscal year, which ends on Sept. 30.
In an unusual step, Biden administration officials gave some reporters a background briefing on Monday before Customs and Border Protection’s routine monthly release of data. Officials noted that the number of removals over the past year — more than 1.3 million — was more than any previous year.
The administration in recent months has tried to steer clear of immigration issues as the midterm elections approach and Republicans campaign on the message that the border is unsecured. Last week, two Republican governors paid for dozens of immigrants who were released from government custody to be transported to Massachusetts and Washington, D.C., an escalation of efforts to show Democratic areas inside the country what it is like on the southwestern border.

According to Laura Logan the idea is to bring in 100 million illegals, swamp out the American people and roll North America into one large administrative unit.

The House needs to use the power of the purse to make sure the border gets secured immediately. No funds for anything else until the Dems include full border wall funding.

Instead of playing high profile politics by sending a few dozen illegals to liberal cities, phony governor Abbott needs to send troops to the Texas border to protect Texans. To hell with the federal government.

Do you all remember when the official number of illegals in this country was 35 million? Then, poof, the number was changed to 11 million. No one knows how many are in this country and they are all guessing.
But I bet they will be voting.
How many tons of narcotics came with them? How many are now basically slaves to the cartels and gangs? Which Democrats are passing around the unaccompanied children?
And by the way, I’m assuming those that were cast to play the roles of the unfortunate illegals on Abbot’s buses headed to liberal cities had to meet these stringent qualifications:
-NOT sex traffickers
-NOT drug smugglers
-NOT fluent in Mandarin
-NOT associated with the Taliban
-NOT members of MS13

“Welcomed” would be more appropriate.
Not truly “arrests” just catch and release cases, to which Biden also gave, illegally, papers that say it is legal for them to work.
This actually makes sense. And Justin Trudeau is auditioning for the position of First Leader of the new political unit.
I doubt those you describe were allowed passage on the bus. That lot is roaming Texas cities and traveling to wherever they please.
