In a dank basement behind the local supermarket, metal bars cordon off a corner of the room to form a large cell. Dirty sleeping bags and duvets show three sleeping spots on top of sheets of Styrofoam for insulation from the damp earth floor. In the corner, two black buckets served as toilets.
A few meters (yards) outside the barred cell, three dilapidated chairs stand around a table, cigarette butts and empty husks of pumpkin seeds littering the floor around them.
Ukrainian authorities say this was a makeshift prison where Russian forces abused detainees before Ukrainian troops swept through the village of Kozacha Lopan in a major counteroffensive in the Kharkiv region this month. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said more than 10 such “torture chambers” have been discovered in the region since the hasty withdrawal of Russian troops last week. The claims of what occurred in the room could not be independently confirmed.

Images the prosecutors released showed a Russian military TA-57 telephone with additional wires and alligator clips attached to it. Ukrainian officials have accused Russian forces of using the Soviet-era radio telephones as a power source to shock prisoners during interrogation.
In his nightly address to the nation Saturday, Zelenskyy mentioned another location, at the railway station in Kozacha Lopan, where he said “a room for torture and tools for electric torture was found.” AP journalists did not see that location.
Zelenskyy compared the Russians to the Nazis during World War II.
“And they will answer in the same way — both on the battlefields and in the courtrooms,” he said.

And Russian prisoners are living in 5 Star Hotels??
Let us all know when this ‘claim’ is actually verified.
Till then, it’s another, among a host, unverified Ukie claim(s), much in the same vain as mass graves, etc. that was utterly demolished as being utter BS.
“Images the prosecutors released showed a Russian military TA-57 telephone with additional wires and alligator clips attached to it. Ukrainian officials have accused Russian forces of using the Soviet-era radio telephones as a power source to shock prisoners during interrogation.”
Was there also a strappado and executioner’s hood left behind?
Bucha 2 was an epic failure. A “tortured” body in army uniforms complete with mobile and cash on him plus a cross on top of the grave is such an awful atrocity.
Methinks ZelenskyyIdiot is not paying them Hollywood prop managers on his payroll enough money. Just saying.
Russian prisoners are knee-capped and filmed while they bleed out.
Did you ever collect the enemy casualties for burial on the battlefield or seen how is it done? The normal procedure is to wrap wire around their legs or arms and hook to the vehicle.
This is probably true.
‘Oleksandr Filchakov, the head of the Kharkiv prosecutor’s office, said some showed signs of torture. Reporters at the scene did not see proof of that.”

It, as with the other ‘claims,’ need to be independently verified.
Till then, they are Ukie ‘claims’ and I ain’t buying non of that Arizona beachfront property.
Word on Stuff like this spreads like wildfire on both sides of the line. This will greatly affect Russian morale and willingness to fight. They don’t want to risk retribution at the hands of the UKRs. When attacked they will quickly abandon the field -as we are already witnessing.
The obviously executed person could have been a partisan.
Suspected partisans can be detected by several means, such as hunting trail cameras or by not having a cell phone on them.
They can then be watched.
They should be given trials, of which the Russians should have kept records of.
They’re even proud of that. Here is what their TV propagandist from a propaganda show called “Beautiful Russia” says:

>Meanwhile on RT’s show “Beautiful Russia,” propagandist argues that Russia shouldn’t worry about the way events like Bucha are being perceived or covered in the West. Instead, he says, Russia should lay into that: “Yes, that’s how we are... We’ll show you even more. Fear us!”
Let me cut to the chase. It appears that one of the objectives for Biden’s policy towards NATO is to get all NATO members in a position where they have to buy western weapons–i.e., good news for General Dynamics, Raytheon, Lockheed Martin, et. al. Provoking the war with Russia and then pressing NATO members with Soviet/Russia tanks, weapons, vehicles, etc. to empty their warehouses and send that “old” stuff to NATO. Now, everyone will resupply by buying weapons produced primarily by U.S. based corporations.

A couple of NATO Generals confirmed that the goal for NATO is to “shift to western systems.” Here is the press conference today of the NATO Military Committee Conference 2022.(Video at link)
The war in Ukraine is not about pushing the Russians out and security the Donbas and Crimea for Ukraine. It is a war to create the conditions that will keep the U.S. and British defense industries in business for years to come. A cynical, blood thirsty policy founded on corruption. That is what NATO has become.
With their arms tied BEHIND their back?
If the Russians did anything criminally wrong, they probably would have buried the bodies deep in plowed fields rather than in a forest.
I saw coffins and crosses, one of which was nicely made.
The bodies should have been buried in proper cemeteries.
Could be, the problem with that theory is Russian past actions in occupied towns like Bucha, where residents said their husbands or neighbors were take out of the house and shot. Sometimes right before their eyes.
Exactly.
Again, INDEPENDENT (not Ukie, not Russian) verification needs to be done.
