The Iranian drone is totally ingenious. Truck rolls out of hidden bunker, arrives at shooting station, fires off five of the thing without having to construct a runway or rail for launching, and then scoots back. Components appear to be mostly if not entirely from the realm of hobbyist FPV model aviation and could be purchased from banggood or alibaba.

By the way, the MD 550 engine itself is sold even on AliExpress, and given the sub-sanctions of Iran, most likely, all other components of the drone are also civilian.

One way to keep development and parts costs down!
