They are punishing him extra for wearing a sweatshirt and a T-shirt that they didn't like.

What was it that made Nazis so bad? They squashed free speech, punished dissent, and were violent, and used the state as their instrument for doing that. And they also didn't like Jews, Gypsies, homos or commies.

Anybody can wear any shirt they want.
I don't see the far left crazies whining about ANTIFA/BLM crazies putting on Che Guevera t-shirts, and he was as evil as they come.

Gosh, imagine what the judge would have given him if he was wearing an ANTIFA hammer and sickle shirt, or maybe a Khmer Rouge headband.

Maybe a Good Citizen Award?

I would never put not liking faggots and commies in the same context as hating jews or gypsies or any ethnicity.

Faggots and commies should be actively disliked. Being known to be either should ruin a life.

“75 days for his role in the deadly riot at the U.S. Capitol.”

Deadly riot? Ashli Babbit was murdered by a coward not involved in the “riot”.

Punishment for 1A speech, but then that is the point isn’t it.

“Fair and speedy trial”, going on TWO YEARS!
Anyone still held is clearly a political prisoner.

And “Deadly”, as I recall only one death, a protestor shot by Gov. and no real investigation done.

He was an Antifa guy wanting to make the Trump people look racist, but he didn’t intend to get swept into jail.

The people behind squashing free speech, i.e. antifa, blm rioters, and burning businesses ARE CRIMINALS, not peaceful free speech protesters.

Agent provocateur.

Or maybe his "Child Molester" shirt was at the dry cleaners.

Life is hard. It is even harder when you are stupid. This guy was either stupid, or he is a plant.

I guess ‘freedom of expression’ only applies to approved symbols/ideas.

“We don’t know what the reason was because Mr. Packer hasn’t told us.”

Why was he even asked the question? Isn’t this America?

I don’t see any photos of the guy wearing the shirt they claim he had on. Once again, claims are made without the article showing any proof to back up their claims. If the reporters of Arutz Sheva believe everything the FBI/DOJ claims, then they’re as gullible as the people who climbed on board those cattle cars.

Being incredibly offensive is a Ninth Amendment reserved right.

“Camp Auschwitz” is a 2nd Amendment meme based on it being the ultimate gun free zone.

He only received 75 days. That is just a minor inconvenience if he was an activist/provocateur. For them it would be a badge of honor, like gang rites are when they have initiates commit something heinous as juveniles, knowing it will keep them in line but not be a problem as adults.
If the prosecutors really believed he was a threat they would get him for more, it isn’t as if they have to worry about getting slapped by judge or jury in DC. Did they even have to plea bargain with him?

Remember when the Democrats dressed people up as Klansmen to attend one of Papa Bush’s rallies? I think Robert Creamer or whoever organized those provocateurs even bragged about it as a mere dirty trick.

We already know the Sullivan guy was bragging about carrying out a false flag for Jan 6, trying to recruit people to attend wearing MAGA gear.

"The sweatshirt, which became a symbol of the rioters’ ties to white supremacist movements . . . "

How many people in the crowd of 150,000 had ties to "white supremacist" movements? Five? .00001%? Arutz Sheva can go to h*ll.

A better question would have been to ask how much money did the FBI pay him to dress in costume...

Being offensive is one thing...
However, the First Amendment does not proscribe offensiveness...
In fact, it protects our right to be “offensive”...
