NEW YORK - New York City officials claim that many of the migrants who are being bused from Texas did not want to go to New York so they are helping them get to other states.
The New York City Commissioner of Immigration Affairs appeared on the FOX 5 NY morning show "Good Day New York" on Wednesday.
Commissioner Manuel Castro says that a lot of the migrants are fleeing Venezuela and are [not wanting to be in New York.]
Castro says, "Many want to go to places like Florida where the largest community of Venezuelans live."
He says they have family and community ties in Florida.
"We're helping them get to their actual final destination [Florida]," Castro says. "We're doing our best."

This family spent 50 hours on a bus because Coyote #1 @GovAbbott is simply inhumane.
So you’re going to do the same thing again in the opposite direction.
For every bus load leaving NY the border states need to send 3 more.
Let’s face it; it’s inhumane for anybody to have to live in NYC.
But they declared them “sanctuary states and cities”.
Embrace the suck.
Who didn’t see this f’n coming.
Bus/ship them to Jamaica.
Ship them to Tobago.
Ship them to Panama.
Bus them back to Venezuela.
Wouldn’t they be happier with a short bus-ride to the Hamptons or up to Westchester county? I hear Chappaqua is very nice and has great internet access.
With Puerto Rico wide open for investment, no one wants to go there? Maybe Musk should buy it and build affordable homes for workers, and open up a few factories. A lot can be done there, but the rich and powerful congress critters probably have their mansion lots staked out. Perfect for the Venezuelans, climate is roughly the same.
Sounds racist to me. NYC is full of racists. They don’t want any of Jill Biden’s “breakfast tacos” in their city.
