A former White House press officer staff from Trump administration, Karoline Leavitt, has won a contested Republican primary in New Hampshire on Tuesday night, Decision Desk HQ projects.
Leavitt outdistanced a crowded GOP primary field in New Hampshire's 1st Congressional District and will face incumbent Rep. Chris Pappas, D-N.H., whose seat is considered vulnerable in November's general election. Pappas won unopposed.
The district encompasses Manchester and the southeastern part of the state. Former President Donald Trump did not make an official endorsement in the race.
The GOP field included former TV broadcaster Gail Huff Brown, wife of Scott Brown, a former U.S. senator from Massachusetts and ambassador to New Zealand during the Trump administration. Also running was Matt Mowers, who won the district's congressional 2020 Republican nomination and was a Trump administration State Department adviser.
But the candidate closest to Trump might be Leavitt, who worked in his White House's press office and has also campaigned with Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas.
"Her compass always points to Trump," said Dante Scala, a University of New Hampshire political science professor. He added, in reference to the former president's "Make America Great Again" campaign slogan, "She, in a very kind of crisp, sharp, confident way, will say the most MAGA thing that can be said in any situation."

RINOs lose yet again. Beautiful.
SWhat about Bolduc??
Bolduc WON?? YES!!!
90% white state.
SUCH good news! Her major opponent was pulling some pretty underhanded stuff the few days before the election. Suck on THAT, Chris Christie!
“FOX said it was called for Karoline.”
If Fox “called it”, then I’m worried. They have a bad history when it comes to election-night decisions.
OH, WOW! Bolduc won? Another MAGA victory. That guy is excellent — almost overqualified for any position in the country. He was quite impressive every time Bannon had interviewed him on War Room.
“Screw Brett Baier. And Martha MacCallum. Those two could barely contain their glee on Election Night”
I don’t recall Martha, but I can still see the look on Sandra Smith’s face when someone informed her that Fox calling a winner on election night doesn’t decide a race for the whole country.
“But we called it!” She must be a natural blonde.
“The guy she beat, Mowers, also worked in Dr. Brix’s office,”
Is he the one who was playing ads of Trump endorsing him in 2020, trying to make people believe the ads were current? The RATs have nothing on RINOs when it comes to the sleaze factor.
New Hampshire Governor's Race
New Hampshire will be a Republican state.

Because these are the candidates that the Democrats want to win.
They've spent over $50 million across the country funding the primary races of MAGA candidates over more moderate ones, believing that the MAGA candidates will be easier to beat in the general election.
Time will tell.
Dante Scala’s panties are in a bunch over this, I’m sure.
Now they have to win the general.

Where it began, I can’t begin to knowing
But then I know, it’s growing strong

It would be NICE if they won the general. But much much more importantly is that they won the GOP nomination, and we DON’T go back to nominating rinos, REGARDLESS of how they do in the general!
Winning the general is the argument that the rinos have made for decades for why we need to nominate moderates.
How has electing “lesser of 2 evils” rinos worked out for the country so far?
The only way we make any political gains is by giving the voters a choice between a true conservative and a Democrat. And we stick to that formula!
If we say “oh no, the conservative candidate lost... let’s go back to nominating GOP candidates that are just ever so slightly to the right of the Democrat”... just so we can say “yay we won, we won”.....then it’s just an empty victory.
Great news! And the revolting Republican weasels lost $6 million that should have been used to defeat commies.
And now the New Hampshire deep state, led by another Sununu loser and backed by Mitch McConnel, will see to it that the candidates supported by Trump will lose.
