“Obama went to Pepperdine? Was that when it was called Occidental?”

Peppardine was never called Occidental. Occidental is a different school entirely.

Caliph Baraq initially went to Occidental in LA for undergrad, then transferred to Columbia for the final two years. After several years in various “jobs” he went to Harvard Law.

“Caliph Baraq initially went to Occidental in LA for undergrad...”

Yup, and there is some evidence he went there as a foreign student.

Exactly. Larry Nichols said that the left blackmailed him with some “admiring” chicks at his gym.

Didn’t Ken Starr have a jail ministry? I recall an article about it several years ago.

Ron D, Tucker, Levin also on my list. Beck has re-joined it too.

America just lost a tremendous patriot. And I lost a wonderful friend. I just learned that Ken Starr passed away today. News reports indicate it was due to complications from surgery. What a truly great loss to the nation.https://t.co/eEwrvgYyaR— Mark R. Levin (@marklevinshow) September 13, 2022

Can someone refresh my memory? Why is it that we apparently do not like Ken Starr?

Ken Starr was like Durham. He was very slow and methodical in his investigation of Clinton. Yet every day, Clinton's lawyers would call a press conference and say how Starr was breaking the law and it was a political witch hunt, and Starr would do NOTHING to counteract it. It went on day after day. Starr allowed himself to be portrayed in the worst possible light and NEVER responded or pushed back against it.

While Starr was slow, hence his nickname, around these parts, of "The Turtle," the real problem was that he concentrated his investigation solely on Clinton's lies during the Paula Jones deposition, A.K.A., "Sex Lies."

Meanwhile, Clinton was happily taking money from CCP & PRA donors and opening up US missile technology to them. (See: Chinagate & Johnny Chung)

The GOP-controlled Congress did investigate this, but because they also were compromised, (Fred Thompson) there was no way they were going to indict Clinton with something they, themselves were involved in.

Exactly. Starr gave his findings to Congress, and they impeached Clinton.

Well, Starr gave his findings about Clinton's "Sex Lies" to Congress, meanwhile completely and studiously, ignoring Chinagate.

You were around then. You don't remember Johnny Chung and what he had to say about the Clintons and 'pay to play?'

Chung visited the White House 49 times. Gave tens of thousands of dollars to the DNC and the Clintons. Introduced the Clintons to numerous CCP & PRA officials. Bernie Schwartz & LORAL giving the CCP & PRA US anti-ballistic missile technology?

Does any of this ring a bell?

Here you go. Refresh your memory about Chinagate. This is why I have zero respect for Ken Starr.

I lost interest in the guy when he became a college president and then had to quit for trying to hush up a football player’s sexual assault scandal.

Ken Starr executed a perfect prison's dilemma in the Susan McDougal incident when he asked her "did President Clinton commit perjury in his testimony." Because her ex-husband had become a co-operating witness and Starr had kept them from communicating, she just didn't know how to respond to that question without opening herself up potential legal liability. That's why she refused to answer the question, was held in contempt of court, and did the orange jumpsuit appearances.

Good and bad in Ken Starr's life but IMO, there is more good than bad. RIP

He may have.......he was a good Christian man and I’m sure he had to be in fervent prayer when he was up against the Clintoons and the propaganda of the media and the Demonrats.

Bless you! My son attended Baylor while Judge Starr was there. The last thing my son did before leaving campus was to knock on President Starr’s door at his residence. He was invited in. My son thanked him for his leadership and his time at Baylor. Judge Starr asked about his future plans and if he could pray with my son. Which he did. Powerful. That’s who he was.
