leadership is still capable of doing.
China is not as solid these days. I believe they are
terrified of civil unrest getting out of control, and
these exercises are meant to keep people from
getting ideas.
I theorize there is also a cultural terror of challenging authority.
So no one will say the emperor is wearing no clothes.
