A left-leaning New York think tank sounded a familiar warning about Arizona’s “voter suppression bills” being “dangerously close to becoming law.”
The Brennan Center for Justice added in a press release that Arizona was “taking center stage in the relentless effort to rein in voter participation in the name of ‘election security.’” Pending bills, the think tank claimed, were “aimed at making voting by mail harder.”
That was in April 2021, before Arizona passed several reform measures that state legislators said they crafted to ensure secure and honest elections.
Little more than a year later, in August 2022, Arizona notched a record for high turnout in a primary election as 1.45 million voters participated, or 35.1% of those registered, surpassing the previous record in a 2000 primary by 7,000 ballots.
Voter turnout in Arizona for 2018, the last primary in a non-presidential election year, was 1.2 million voters, or 33.4%.
In 2021, Democrats and pundits attacked election reform laws enacted in 19 states as attempts at “voter suppression.” The five states that appeared to come under the most attack were Georgia, Texas, Arizona, Florida, and Iowa—all of which saw boosted voter turnout so far in 2022 compared to the 2018 primaries.
As a rule, non-presidential elections and primary elections attract lower turnout than presidential elections or general elections.
But voter turnout was significantly higher in the 2022 primaries in Georgia, Texas, and Arizona and nominally higher in Florida than in the comparable 2018 primaries.
So new election laws in these states did a lousy job of suppressing the vote, if that’s what Republican lawmakers designed them to do.

It’s a post-truth world. The truth simply doesn’t matter to them. If a state enacts Shall Issue, or worse, Constitutional Carry, “There will be blood in the streets!!” according to all those people, never mind that it has never happened before to any of the other states that adopted such measures previously.
So it goes with the Voter Suppression!!! measures states want to enact. And so it will continue to go, just as it has in the cases of Shall Issue and Constitutional Carry.
Florida wins again.
Turnout would have been much higher without the bills because the voters hated Trump. Ask the left.
What democrats call ‘voter suppression bills’, are in reality, ‘voter fraud suppression’ bills.
Democrats hate it when they have to work harder to implement their voter fraud.

These elections,IIRC,are conducted on a single day,do not allow "mail in balloting",require the voter to physically appear at a polling place and require him/her to produce ID.
And,of course,we've all seen photos of voters in 3rd World countries proudly showing their purple fingers...which are meant to prevent voter fraud.
I'd love to see detailed accounts of how elections are conducted in countries like Canada,Australia,Britain,France,Germany,Japan,South Korea and other stable,prosperous nations and compare them to the type of election that our Rat Party is insisting on.
We should always remember The Big Guy's declaration during his basement campaign of 2020: "we've set up the most comprehensive voter fraud operation in history"

The mail in vote is very prone to fraud.
I would eliminate it altogether.
In AZ even after passing few minor fixes, it is far from being OK.
BTW, one of these fixes was to eliminate dead voters from the rolls!
Believe or not, most Democrats were fighting for dead people right to vote!
Get your worthless democrat fat ass out to the polls if you want to vote,unless you have a legitimate medical problem that prevents it.

Think about why this mass mail in voting was implemented in the first place. Covid. Despite Fauci saying voting in person would be fine months out from the election , the left flooded cities with unsolicited mail in ballots and random unsecured dropboxes, often actually illegally under the guise of public safety.
Now they refuse to let it go. Times have changed. But the lure of this juicy fraud is like crack to them. People who are advocating for things to go back to pre covid norms are now accused of suppression lol. The left has no shame- they see the optics but just dont care. Theyll will fight to the bitter end to save voter fraud.
