And if reports are true then the Palace is leaving the makeup of each country's delegation up to the country itself.
Since the Palace is apparently leaving the make up of each country's delegation up to the country itself then the invitation will come from Biden.
It would be the crown that makes the invites. I doubt President Trump would stoop to being in the “US Delegation”, which given the Obama and Biden hatred for the UK will likely be filled with radicals, freaks, cross dressers, and other noxious individuals.
So if President Trump is given an independent invitation, the barrel of monkeys in the delegation can be seated in the rear, and he will have front row seats.
This will make the Democrats so mad that they will desperately try to get President Trump subpoenaed or otherwise held up, so that he can’t attend.
Biden is the current one. They'll choose him over any non-declared 2024 candidates.

Trump will not go and probably should not, no point in ginning up the anger and hysteria it might invite.

If Biden engineers a snub, I hope Trump has the class to just stay away quietly. The Queen’s funeral is not about him. Plenty of time to excoriate Biden for his smallness later.
And the Palace is allowing individual countries to choose the members of their delegations.

Trump does not have to be part of any delegation. I would not want to be a part of any delegation those impostors in DC put together.

Utter rubbish. Trump always behaved impeccably. It was Moochelle and Biden that act poorly. The Queen totally enjoyed Trump’s visit. Always had a big smile on her face.
