Remove the hearsay and what’s left? Putin was a KGB major? Bush Sr. was a CIA director and created and armed a ton of insurgents and terrorists. Obama killed thousands by secret courts and drones. You can argue some deserved it but hundreds of innocents died in the process ( the most recent “collateral kinetic effects” (or whatever the CIA is calling murder these days) was that innocent family of ten in Afghanistan that was blown to bits while filling water jugs. Anyone pay for that? In Afghanistan, you had a trillion dollars, 20 years, and 4 presidents only to replace the Taliban with the Taliban (now with an $85 billion arsenal). Iraq? Didn’t April Glaspie and the state department all but sign off on Kuwait directly to Saddam giving him the impetus to invade? Again, 20 years later American hoped for vassal state ends at the blast walls of the green zone. Iraq’s ancient Chaldean Christian community of 800,000 was destroyed or scattered to the winds and hundreds of thousands of Iraqis died from that conflict. Trillions of dollars and all it’s done is create a lasting hatred of the “defenders of democracy.” In almost no case in the last five wars was there an actual threat to America worth the carnage of regime change. I was a huge defender of both wars as they happened but I can see how psyop’d I was.
