I used to live in NJ, near the NYS border. There was a stabbing at a Rabbi's home in Monsey in 2019 where one person ultimately died. There was a shooting in an orthodox market in Jersey City where three people were killed. And while we are at it, pre-pandemic
there was a measles outbreak in NY where De Blasio vilified that community for not vaxxing.
We all have a natural right to be armed. Anyone who's religious in NYS has every right to be more amped up about it. Anyone who's Jewish has been targeted and should be issued a sidearm.

It is almost like they want to see how much of the Bill of Rights they can violate with one law.
1st Amendment: Government interference with the practice of religion, check.
2nd Amendment: Government restriction of firearm possession in a domain in which they have no jurisdiction to do so, check.
What’s next? The quartering of soldiers in synagogues?
