It’s both sides. There was an article the other day that said the Ukranian counter offensive failed and Ukraine lost 3000 dead and 7000 wounded.

Near the bottom of that article was the astonishing statement that Russian troops were just outside of Kiev maybe 2km with massed mechanized forces while TU-95s were dropping loads of ordinance.
