I think you are 100% wrong about that. This ad is aimed squarely at the typical Pennsylvania swing voter: a dingbat Karen from suburban Philadelphia with a “Hate Has No Home Here” sign on her front lawn and a son in middle school who thinks he’s a girl.

I would also add that a lot of Pennsylvanians who are fine with their mayor pulling a gun on a random black guy would consider it a capital offense to pull a gun on a Pittsburgh Steelers fan of any race.

Make no mistake about it — this is a very effective political ad.
