This is a trial balloon. It will help the Dems establish legal precedent for removing Trump.
Likely go to appeal and reverse Judge’s insurrection judgment.
Guess so. It happened in California with the anti-gay ballot initiative.
The judge who overturned it was a homosexual who retired immediately after rendering his decision.
“Both because it’s the first time in over 150 years that a judge has disqualified a public official for engaging in an insurrection”

Was he convicted of insurrection? If not, then this is a B.S. ruling.
This is more lawfare. Ignore the judge and just keep doing your elected job.
So, now can any Democrat politician who used inflammatory rhetoric in 2020 (or since) - e.g., who called the country systemically racist and unjust, who defended BLM rioting and contributed to bail funds, who use words like “we must fight” or “we are at war with . . . “ - be removed from office and banned from ever running again?
They really selected their venue for this. Not only with a rabidly anti-Trump judge, but also where the first appellate level is anti-Trump.
And the appellate level above that is the US 10th circuit, which is 6 Democrat (5 Obama, 1 Biden) - 5 Republican appointees (3 G.W. Bush, 2 Trump).
It wasn’t an insurrection

Sorry. You represent yourself and you have a fool for a client.
So by the Judge’s twisted standards how is his ruling not an even more clear cut example of an “insurrection” since he is overturning an election?
And I think you hit the nail right on the head. I think this is a little test to see if people will accept the premise that a judge is able to revoke someone’s right to run for an election. The ultimate goal the big test of course will be Trump.
This legal ruling by a State Judge in New Mexico is yet another judge trying look cool at the local democrat/marxist cocktail parties.
In my not so humble and lay opinion, this ruling is so preposterous that it will likely get set aside and never even see an appeals court and ultimately be disposed of in a de novo hearing/trial.
Vote for Couy Griffin.
