Brexit, The Protestant Reformation and The Treaty of Westphalia
February 10, 2020 - Steve Matthews
“There’s a historic battle going on now across the West, in Europe, America and elsewhere. It is globalism against populism. And you may loath populism, but I tell you a funny thing, it’s becoming very popular.”
Nigel Farage
As of January 31, 2020, Great Britain is no longer part of the European Union (EU). Britain’s success in parting ways with the EU, what is commonly called Brexit, short for British Exit from the EU, is the culmination of nearly 30 years of work by Britons opposed to the Maastricht Treaty, which the was signed by the U.K.’s conservative government in 1992, making Great Britain part of the EU.

If you step back to see the big picture here, the globalism issues are still VERY relevant...
Amazing
So I’m not the only one thinking that we are undergoing a Counter Reformation driven partly by the Big Guy in Rome.
The flood of Catholic Spaniards into the Protestant edifice known as the United States is being pushed by globalists to dilute the independent nature of the populace.
So in place of Reformation based tenets like critical assessment of political, social, scientific and religious ideas, we are once again to be forced to regurgitate dogma from the ruling class. All heretics to be subjected to Inquisitions if any deviation is detected.
Not surprisingly the main progenitors of this tendency are the current co-proprietors of the Democrat party, the Irish Catholics, one of whom likes to refer to himself as “President”.
They can think of nothing but revenge against the Bloody Protestants as I heard one of them say in a San Francisco bar many years ago.
And what better revenge then subsuming the formerly independent nation of wayward souls back under the irongrip of the papal nuncio?
Only this time they spruce up the image and call it “globalism”. We’ll all hold hands and sing We Are The World and send our money to the little man in his city within a city.
Thanks for the reply!
