Full transparency, when we first saw this poll we thought it had to be after Biden’s ‘MAGA REPUBLICANS ARE DESTROYING THE COUNTRY REEE’ speech because woof, this is really really really low for Independents. But nope, this was before Biden did his best Hitler impression on primetime television.
We’re willing to bet it dropped even further after that disaster.

Biden’s speech was not a speech a president who is confident that his party is going to stay in power gives. Biden’s speech was a hateful, divisive, desperate plea to scare people into voting for Democrats even though the country is a disaster under their leadership.
Maybe not making a speech where they should have been playing Deutschland Deutschland afterwards was a bad idea after all

Twitchy used to be one of my very favorite political news sites and forums. For about 10 years, I enjoyed posting there, reading and responding to the other posts. Similar to here. All that ended about three months ago.
Now, if you want to post a response to one of their articles, you have to pay a membership fee. Even just to take a look at what has been posted, you must first pay that membership fee.
I believe this was done, because much of the internet seems to be intent on taking away the rights of conservatives to freely post their thoughts without some troll saying this website is allowing ‘racist’ or ‘violent’ material and not acting on it.
Sites like Twitchy have been forced to become like private due paying clubs. Speak-easy’s.
So far, I am too cheap to pay that membership fee.
The spontanaeity of dialog is gone though. Too bad.
