It Looks Like Adam Kinzinger Has Finally Bitten off More Than He Can Chew

Fresh off accusing former President Donald Trump and other Americans critical of federal government overreach of being “un-American” simply because they’re opposed to politically-motivated DOJ-approved witch hunts against former presidents, Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-Ill.) has moved on to his next target.

On Sunday, “X Strategies, LLC” CEO Alex Bruesewitz, a private citizen, had the nerve to criticize Kinzinger on Twitter over his “un-American” accusation toward millions of Americans, calling him out for his double standards in the process.

“You praised Joe Biden for calling 75 Million Americans ‘enemies of the state’ but you’re angry that Trump criticized the corrupt & completely weaponized FBI & DOJ? Adam Kinzinger, you have issues man,” Bruesewitz wrote.

True to form, Kinzinger, who has weaponized his membership on the January 6 Select House Committee in order to target his political opponents, did not respond to the accusation (probably because he knows it’s true). Instead, he tried to change the subject by accusing Bruesewitz of committing fraud against the U.S. government.

“Alex did you pay back your PPP loan despite having no employees?” Kinzinger responded.

In a follow-up tweet, Kinzinger pretended to have “the receipts”:

===== SNIP =====

The problem with Kinzinger’s accusation, however, is that it’s not true, and both Bruesewitz and his attorney trotted out their own receipts to counter Kinzinger, complete with a cease and desist letter.

Alex Bruesewitz 🇺🇸 @alexbruesewitz · Follow Yesterday, Rep. @AdamKinzinger FALSELY accused me, a private citizen, of defrauding the US Gov’t.

He stated that I took PPP Loans “despite having no employees.”

Only problem is, he knew I had employees.

My attorney, @JeffClarkUS, has sent Kinzinger a Cease & Desist. 1/2

“How would Kinzinger even have access to this information, even if it was true?”

Sounds like they know each other.

Unbelievable…and I voted for this guy.

Even in the primary against Manzullo? He looks pretty good now compared to other Illinois Republicans.

He was one of 546 who have destroyed this country. 435 in the congress, 100 in the Senate, 9 Supreme Court, and Pres and Vice Pres. Hard to believe it’s taken so few.

Kinzinger has 120 days left in office - then he will be unemployed for a very long time.

First, a multimillion dollar deal for a book that no one will buy, and then a job with one of the Fake News channels that no one will watch.

But he has probably already been paid well for his service to the Deep State.

I believe that the Nick Sandmann case against Elizabeth Warren has established that Congressmen have immunity to defamation claims made on platforms like Twitter because of a law they put in place immunizing them while doing their job. Based on that precident Kinzinger can say whatever he wants about private people with impunity on Twitter.

I think Manzullo was pushed out by the democrats’ gerrymandering too, if I remember correctly. I was disappointed when he stepped down, a far, far, better man than K-klown.

He’ll get the book deal, but aside from a couple of minor commentator gigs immediately after he departs, he’ll be invisible.

Kinzinger has no star power or personality — and he won’t have the congressional seat to cover for those. He’s sort of been Cheney’s side kick rather than the one out front. Cheney will have plenty of spots over the next two years, perhaps even a regular post, but Kinzinger will fade into the woodwork, likely ending up on a corporate board for some insignificant government contract driven company.

Kinzinger is out of congress forever in a few months. He's going to get taken down sooner or later.

I was disappointed when he stepped down

He didn't "step down", Kinzinger ran against him in the primary as a "Tea Party Republican", Manzullo was a nuts and bolts midwestern conservative who didn't pick up on the vibe and Kinzinger won a lot of votes based on lies.
