Sorry for the churn. I almost consider the Ukraine War, a semi-civil war. Seems like there are sympathizers on both sides of the line. Hopefully, they will figure out a peace soon.

That is how an American civil war with be done. And, you don’t need an AR-15. Just arm yourself with what BeijingBiden recommended, a shotgun. Plenty of range for the job needed.
Mid-level soldiers will not fire on civilians. Their leaders (woke DBags) will order them to do so. Have they forgotten Nam? Don’t they know what the word fragging means?

Gangs in cities are not unified. They will wage a bloody street by street war over control. Even those not in one will have to join for survival.
The massive tent cities in some cities and even those not in tents are addicted to drugs/alcohol. Right now cheap meth and fentanyl are keeping the violence and crime at a minimum. Gangs are willing to make money off them. This group is the most dangerous. They will kill / steal / harm anyone for another fix. The gangs may decide to kill them or push them out of their territory. Since they have no allegiance to anything other than their mental illness almost everyone will want these people gone and fast. They are a danger to anyone and everyone. Killed almost as fast as the city elites.
City elites will get eaten first. Conservatives or democrats it won't matter. The police, fire fighters … may well bug out, stay home or congregate for safety but protecting people that look down on them will be low on the list. This group will not be able to see the danger until it destroys them. They will be on their cell phones demanding protection when their doors get kicked in. Won't be pretty.
Suburbs may well put politics behind survival quickly as the city ventures out. It will take a bit for the realization that hungry mean people don't really care about your politics. Slow areas will be thoroughly destroyed fighting each other when the city gangs venture out. Survival will depend on the local area.
Elites in the suburbs will get eaten quickly. They will hold onto their perceived status and get eaten buy suburban poor or city criminals. They will be the third group dead (after urban elites and mentally unstable druggies). The gangs of the city will hit the multi-million dollar subdivision/ communities first. Local police will be no match to the brutal savages that come out. Druggies and gangs will win the day. These people will also be on their cell phones hoping for help. Some may arm up but they just don't have the savagery to live.
Rural people will be a mixed bag. 200 people going door to door in rural USA will get shot at from every direction. They can overrun areas but it won't take long to decide suburbs are easier if they aren't unified.
Politicians and military will be successful in some areas. Military towns can be secured. Major cities not much so. They may try but it would take the entire US Army to control just NYC. Won't take long for politicians to decide to play defense in smaller areas. Military towns may not respond and leave family's to fend for themselves. I see the power brokers in the US military going to the O-5 level. Just based on my experience.
Yep, or even just taint the supplies rather than disrupt them. Just add gasoline to the fuel... Done Deal...
They're gonna want to monopolize what food, water, arms, ammo, etc. they can get and it won't be a cakewalk getting it back from them.

Lots of pizza delivery guys at Homestead, every day. Some may have been disgruntled ex-GIs. It would have been easy to go into the laundry room in any dorm and grab some uniforms. There were no fences around the flightline...just a rope you weren’t supposed to step over...literally ankle-high. There were breaks in it that served as “gates.” I didn’t know about it at the time( early ‘80s) but there were a couple of central Americans caught walking along the flightline road in uniform one night. They had the old, unsubdued chevrons on their sleeves. That’s what got them busted. A little bit of stealth and some firestarting equipment snd they could have burned four squadrons of jets.
You are probably right. After the tornadoes came through North Alabama, cell service was up and running fairly quickly. No one will mess with them since everyone needs them. That and it won’t stop people that have no other plan but 911.
I can’t see many states being able to raise an army and control their state with the biggest leach community left home to raise hell. Sad but we have only 2 moves to win and no one has the guts to do it.

Air squadrons need a lot of logistics to keep them flying. No way, they can fly in a Civil War, unless they are flying from another country or a foreign aircraft carrier.
Ain’t hard to find uniforms either.

I don’t know how armies will form. Especially the opposition to the Fed. Look what happened with the kidnapping of the Gov of Michigan. It was mostly the FIB, but that is how it will be at first. They will infiltrate everyone and will lead to mass arrests. That is until they find themselves hanging from bridges.
