Furthering California’s long-standing collaboration with China on climate change, Governor Gavin Newsom today renewed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to advance ongoing cooperation on initiatives to protect the environment, reduce carbon emissions and air pollution, and promote clean energy development.
The Governor and China’s Minister of Ecology and Environment Huang Runqiu signed the MOU in a virtual meeting joined by Lieutenant Governor Eleni Kounalakis, who serves as the Governor’s Representative for International Affairs and Trade Development, and senior climate officials from California and China.

Makes perfect sense...a climate MOU agreement between the country opening one new coal fired power plant every week and another country that has shut down almost all of its fossil fueled power plants and was on the verge of shutting down its last nuclear power plant until it stepped back from the brink this week.
That makes sense, because China is the envy of the world for its pristine, healthy air.
AND peeing our hydro power out to the sea as fast as possible
