Note: Something is up because I held my nose and checked CNN. They had a long list of minor stories under crime and this story had a vaguely worded one about a suspect arrested——no description or details of the name and his being out from prison on a past abduction conviction.

I listen to a lot of True Crime podcasts plus I worked for a police department. Stuff happens in the blink of an eye - run into the wrong person and in a split second, you’re in big trouble, even if you see it coming. If you don’t see it coming (ear buds), you’re just a sitting duck and look like an easy target. Looking like a harder target makes a big difference ... I can tell you that from personal experience. Fortunately, the guy just didn’t want to mess with someone he was obviously going to have to fight.
