The Jiggle TV epithet was made up by the other networks to denigrate the competition. ABC cultivated a hip/youth appeal image back then (Happy Days, L&S, Charlie’s Angels etc). TC has held up better than any of them.
That sort of thing was so ridiculous. The concept would be incomprehensible to a youngish person today. Battler of the Streamer Stars?
Regardless of who made it up it was pretty accurate. And funny that Klein used it to slag on ABC while Police Woman is often credited as providing the model and that was on NBC. Maybe he waited until it got canceled.
